Hollo Collective was founded by a wholesale industry veteran who spent over a decade opening accounts, managing platforms, and placing brands at some of the most recognizable retailers in the country.

Over a decade working alongside brands like Vineyard Vines, Lilly Pulitzer, Kendra Scott, Barbour, Jack Rogers, Lifeguard Press, and Texas Ranch Olive Oil has given us an insider's understanding of what it takes to build and sustain a wholesale channel at the highest level. That experience — the buyer relationships, the retail instincts, the operational know-how — is what we bring to every brand we partner with.

The work also spanned HomeGoods and Nordstrom, Whole Foods Market and Macy's, Belk and Academy Sports and Bass Pro Shops — and hundreds of boutiques, regional chains, and specialty retailers in between. Every category, every level of retail complexity, every type of buyer relationship.

What became clear over those years was a pattern that repeated itself with almost every growing brand: the wholesale opportunity was there, the product was there, the demand was there — but the execution wasn't happening because the brand couldn't afford the expertise to make it happen.

A full-time wholesale director costs $90–140K per year. A traditional sales rep works commission-only, represents dozens of brands at once, and touches the ones that are easiest to sell. Neither option was built for the brand between $250K and $5M trying to build a real wholesale channel without breaking the bank.
